These Newborn Photography Belfast Sessions are a HUGE important milestone! Capturing all that makes them Newborns, those wrinkles and squishy rolls, long eyelashes, button nose and furry cheeks, all the things you so easily forget as they grow and becomes a blurred memory. After all, you replace the pram, you throw away the toys and you part with the clothes but photographs are the one thing that will remain. They’re only this small once, a time that can never be replaced.
It’s important to pre-book your Newborn session from the 20 week scan mark to ensure your space is secured! Weekend availability gets snapped up fast. So it’s really best to reserve your space as soon as you can as I only take on so many due dates per month as I know all too well, babies can arrive earlier or later than their anticipated due date. If you are worried about missing out because your baby has already arrived, get in touch as soon as possible to see if there is any last minute availability.
You choose which colour palette you’d like for your Newborn session and family and sibling portraits are included too! I have a wide range of colours and props – Something for everyone. I provide it all. You of course can bring along any special items you’d love to incorporate into the session such as wedding rings, precious lockets, knitted blankets, scan picture etc.. This is your Newborn photoshoot.
As a Newborn photographer based in Belfast, I’m proud to say my work has won several awards and been featured in publications. This session will provide you will memories to cherish and look back on in years to come. Knowing most often it’s parents first few times out of the house so I have created a cosy warm studio with small babies and families in mind allowing you to fully relax with a latte knowing your baby is fully cared for while being photographed. You will be invited back to my studio one to two weeks after your session to view your final gallery of approximately 25 beautifully enhanced and professionally edited images. It’s at this point when you may decide which package you may want to purchase. To book a £99 non refundable session fee is required in order to secure your booking.
You pay the £99 Session fee and we get your due date into the diary!

When your cherub arrives, you let me know! We'll then schedule your officially Newborn Photography session date in the diary and have a relaxing enjoyable photoshoot for all.
After your Newborn Photography Belfast Photoshoot, we'll pencil in your viewing appointment approximately 2 weeks after. You choose how to display your images.

The collections will provide your digital images to be presented in high resolution on a USB and include all printing rights. I understand having the flexibility of buying digital files allows you to produce prints, enlargements and albums. However I strongly believe that the beautiful images we are going to create deserve the best quality products that you can proudly look at while sipping on your morning coffee.
A portrait you’d be delighted for friends and family to smile as they are welcomed into your home. Perhaps a Newborn multi image portrait to show off all of those precious and adorable details to cherish as they grow up bigger by day. For this reason I’ve a variety of wall art choices and sizings to choose from that you will be able to see in the studio during your Newborn Photography Belfast Photosession.

Newborn Photoshoots are scheduled within the first three weeks after birth, this is because they are still super sleepy at this age falling into a deep sleep. They are sleepiest in the morning therefore these sessions start at 10-10:30am to ensure best results for you. Don’t worry, family portraits get taken at the end of the session so you’re welcome to get ready for your portraits during the Newborn photoshoot.
Once you’ve pre-booked your Newborn photoshoot, I ask that you let me know as soon as you can once baby has arrived so that we can pencil in your official date in the diary based on how mummy and baby are doing. It’s important to me to ensure both Mum an baby are okay. Those that have c-sections we often schedule towards the three week old mark to ensure mummy is more comfortable on the sofa during the photoshoot. Each Newborn session is tailored to your preferred stylings of your favourite colours and props based on your answers in your questionnaire and our discussions.
Would you love siblings to join in whether they are furry or human? Of course bring them along! I will provide top tips in what to expect, what to bring and what best to wear. I have created a dedicated play area in the studio which is great for toddlers upwards to occupy themself with daddy during the photoshoot. This enables them to stay cool and relaxed as the photo session room itself will be very very warm. Whether you’d like your dog to relax in the warm room with us during the photoshoot or you’d like to take them for a walk in the local area at the beginning – either is completely fine!
As a baby photographer I understand that these cherubs grow so so fast! So in these Newborn photography Belfast sessions, I like to capture a variety of portraits from beautiful nude squishy portraits, swaddled wrapped portraits in adorable props and a range of sibling and family portraits. Once you’ve pre-booked your Newborn photoshoot, we then get planning and get excited for your Newborn session which is held in my photo studio in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I will send you a “Preparation Guide” with more information about the photo session, what to expect, how to prepare, what to bring and what to wear etc..
Your Newborn photos will be ready to view around 1-2 weeks after the session itself in the photo-studio viewing room. At the end of your session we will schedule a date and time in the diary that suits best to come back to the studio for your ultimate viewing experience. Here you will view your professionally edited gallery of around 25 images on the big screen – the best cinema ever! You will then choose which way you’d like to display your favourites, whether that is on the USB, album or a beautiful wall art piece.. the choice is yours. Cake smash packages to include your favourite images on a USB stick start at £399 and move up from there depending on your favourites and what you wish to have.
